Two decades after their iconic collaboration, Louis Vuitton and renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami are set to unveil a new fashion collection in January 2025. This highly anticipated collection will be released in two installments, promising to once again blend the worlds of luxury fashion and contemporary art.
Shot by Dutch photographers, Inez and Vinoodh, the campaign features global superstar Zendaya, offering a first glimpse into the reimagined iconic pieces while introducing a new generation to the playful spirit of the original 2003 collaboration.

The first installment, debuting worldwide on January 1st, 2025, will reimagine the iconic pieces from the groundbreaking 2003 collaboration. Leveraging cutting-edge digital techniques, these classic designs, emblazoned with Murakami's signature vibrant florals and playful characters, receive a contemporary update. Expect to see reimagined versions of the celebrated Monogram Multicolore canvas, along with beloved accessories like the iconic Speedy bag and the Keepall travel bag, all infused with Murakami's distinctive artistic vision.
The second installment, slated for a March 2025 release, will introduce a new motif: Murakami's captivating "Cherry Blossom" pattern. This delicate floral design is expected to grace a range of leather goods, footwear, and accessories, promising a continuation of the playful elegance that defined the initial collaboration.
