French powerhouse Mugler and South Korean tastemakers Gentle Monster unveil a stunning new eyewear collection, designed by creative director Casey Cadwallader. This isn't your average pair of shades, it’s a perfect blend of sexy futurism in a pair of shades.
The collection takes a page straight out of Mugler's iconic archives, specifically the legendary "Les Insectes" collection that debuted in Spring 1997. This runway show, known for its fantastical insect-inspired garments, featured outlandish eyewear that has become a permanent fixture in fashion history.

The Mugler x Gentle Monster collaboration translates this legacy into two distinct sunglasses styles, both named "Spiral." The Spiral 01 is a showstopper, mirroring the oversized bug-eye shape of the original designs, with the added drama of spiky extensions. It's a bold statement piece for those who aren't afraid to turn heads.
For a subtler take on Mugler's avant-garde spirit, the Spiral 02 offers a sleeker, wraparound design. Think embossed lines reminiscent of Mugler's signature leggings and a chrome logo on the temples for a touch of luxury. Both styles come in three colorways, allowing for a bit of personal expression.
The Mugler x Gentle Monster collection is set to launch on July 18th, available at Mugler and Gentle Monster stores, both online and physical, as well as select global retailers. Prices range from $385 to $485, Making them the statement piece for summer.
